Orders placed Saturday and Sunday will be processed on the following Monday. All items can takes between 3-7 business days upon receipt of payment. Hair Toppers and customized items may take up to 2 weeks.
Our system emails your order receipt as soon as order is complete. If you did not receive an order receipt please check your Spam settings of your email program. Often Spam filters block email addresses with the words “Orders” or “Customer Service” in the email subject or address.
Out of Stock Policy
While we always attempt to maintain a substantial in-stock quantity for our main in house staple products, it is possible that we may have less in-stock quantity for a particular item than you want to order. If you have ordered multiple items and some of them are immediately available from our inventory, we will ship those to you immediately and send you the back ordered item when it arrives, at no additional shipping charges to you.
Orders cannot be cancelled once placed due to our automatic processing system. If your shipment is returned to us due to a bad address, refused upon delivery, unclaimed or cancelled after placing your order; there will be a 50% cancellation fee charged. Shipping and handling charges are non refundable. The balance will be refunded to your credit card.

Please examine the merchandise when you receive your package. For the WAVY hair, you may test the curl by wetting a small portion (do not wet the entire hair). Place the hair on a desk, pull a small portion away from the rest (do not cut the portion), spray some water, and let it soak for about 15 seconds. Hold the top of the hair while it is on the desk and gently brush the wet portion from the bottom and watch it wave. Towel dry and scrunch it to wave up more.
**For high lift colors or super curly add $50.- $75 to the price. Custom orders must be called in.
**With custom orders all sales are final, no refunds
**If for some reason you did not receive exactly what you ordered, we will remake it at no charge. Please return unaltered hair to receive this guarantee.
At times custom orders may require a 2 to 6 week delivery. We would like to thank our clients in advance for understanding when making custom hair more time is usually required. All our orders start with raw virgin hair which is unprocessed without coloring or coating of any kind. The hair must go through a number of steps before it be approved by our quality control team and shipped to you.
For your own safety, if the shipping and the billing address differ you must (704)302-1044 or email (info@pureluxhair) a legible copy of your government issued photo ID (driver’s license, passport, etc) and a copy of the credit card used, shortly after placing your order .
For your protection all orders over $100 are shipped requiring signature confirmation.
Shipment Tracking Once your order has been shipped, you will receive an email confirmation with your USPS shipping confirmation number, so you can track your package. To track your shipment, click on the USPS logo and enter your tracking number in the appropriate field.
Shipping days/ Hours of operation
Monday through Friday, except the following holidays: New Year’s Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, day before and after Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, and New Year’s Eve (i.e. all government observed holidays due to the post office being closed). Please remember packages may be delayed on such holidays New Year’s Day, Martin Luther King, Jr.’s Birthday, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Holidays, and Christmas Day. Shipping rates will be automatically calculated by the carrier. If items are custom ordered or backordered, no worries it will be shipped express Next Day when it becomes available.
International shipping International shipping is $65 to all other countries outside the US. We ship UPS International Global Express mail , with tracking number, and insurance. Delivery is Monday – Friday.
Due to Carrier’s recent cost increases and changes with their polices, Carrier’s will begin charging return fees. That is, if you place an order from Pure Lux Hair, but do not accept the package or cancel the package en-route, then Carrier’s may charge additional fees to return the package back to us. Subsequently, this fee will be charged to the customer’s account. Therefore, we ask our customers to verify and double check your orders before submitting.
We have secure online ordering. When shopping online, just click on the “Cart” button next to the item you would like to order. This item is then added to your shopping cart. When you are ready to place your order, click on the “check out” button at the top right hand corner of your computer screen. You will then be asked to fill out a secure online order form, which will safely deliver your personal and credit card information. We accept discover, master card, and visa. Don’t have a credit card? No worries, for your convenience we also accept Cashiers Checks / Money Orders /Travelers Cheques. Use our Shopping Cart, just click the “Add To Cart” button next to each item you’d like to order, and a list will be made for you automatically. 2. If you wish to send back the merchandise for an exchange by mail, please take the package to a local post office or UPS office and return the package to the address shown. Customers are responsible for shipping charges. Please call 1-704-302-1044 and our representative will guide you in making the exchange. Please send a copy of the receipt when returning. If you don’t’ have your receipt, please write your name, phone number, and address on a slip along with your account number.
3. To receive your new item, we must receive your merchandise first before we can send out the exchange.

5. For customers who are returning the Wavy or Curly hair, please do not finger comb or brush the hair. This will make the hair frizzy & out of shape. We will not accept a return if it has been brush out or finger combed.
Please remember packages may be delayed on such holidays New Year’s Day, Martin Luther King, Jr. Birthday, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Holidays, and Christmas Day. Packages may also be delayed because of adverse weather conditions.
If for some reason you did not receive exactly what you ordered, we will reship it at no charge. Please return unaltered hair to receive this guarantee.
Our refund policy is All Sales Final. Unfortunately we can’t offer you a refund or exchange after this period. To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging. Several types of goods are exempt from being returned. Perishable goods such as food, flowers, newspapers or magazines cannot be returned. We also do not accept products that are intimate or sanitary goods, hazardous materials, or flammable liquids or gases.
To complete your return, we require a receipt or proof of purchase. Please do not send your purchase back to the manufacturer.
Refunds (if applicable)
Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.
If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within a certain amount of days.
Exchanges (if applicable)

Our products are shipped within 4-7 Days using the following carriers: USPS . You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund. Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you, may vary. If you are shipping an item over $50, you should consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We don’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item.

What are hair extensions?
This is adding hair to your own natural hair by various means of applications such as gluing, sewing, clipping, braiding or bonding.
What makes Pure Lux Hair the best? Our process!!
We select the best raw hair which is the highest quality,healthiest and strongest hair. We ensure all cuticles are laying in the same direction, which makes it soft to the touch, long lasting and tangle free. We reinforce our weft to ensure a minimal amount of shedding. It is pretreated with superior conditioners before being shipped out.
How are extensions applied?
Weaving – This is a process which you create a corn row or track around the head and close to the scalp. Extension hair is sewn on the tracks. Finally, your own hair covers the tracks for a natural look.
Bonding – This is the easiest method. Bonding glue is applied onto the weft of the extension hair and then applied at the root of your hair. This is a temporary method. We sell bonding glue and remover.
Clip-ons – Clips are sewn onto hair wefts. You may clip these in and out yourself. Clips can be purchased from us and sewn on a ¼ pound of hair yourself or you may order our clip-on extensions made from our factory already done.
Mini-Links – This method uses no glue, no heat, no remover and also no damage to the hair. Small circular links are used. Your own hair is pulled through in small pieces with a tool that looks like a crochet hook then the pre-tipped hair is put inside the link and it is squeezed tight. To remove use small pliers to open the link. Hair can be reused.

How much hair do I need?
For a half of head application – (3.5 – 4oz. = 1 Bundle) For a Whole head application – (7 – 8oz. = 2 Bundles) For Larger heads application – (8oz. – 10oz.= 3 Bundles). Please be advised that when longer hair is ordered, there is a decrease in width because the cost is according to the weight. Additional ounces may be necessary.
What is a weft?
Strands of hair which have been sewn along one edge to create a line of hair.
Will extensions damage my hair?
Extensions should not damage your hair if properly cared for and maintained. Please call our hair extensions specialist on site for a hair extension consultation if needed. Consultation fees may apply.
How do I wash them?
Wash the hair in one direction. From top to bottom. Avoid washing hair upside down in the sink. Use shampoos and conditioners that are for dry hair and add the most moisture. Wash hair right after swimming. When brushing your hair, start from the bottom and work your way up while holding the top part to keep it from shedding or stretching.
Can I color my own hair?
Yes, but we are not responsible for the color once it leaves our warehouse. Your stylist may definitely color your own hair but at your own discretion (Pure Luxury Hair is not liable).
What types of products should I use?
Moisture is the most important thing. Please do not use products for oily hair or strippers that take out chlorine or product build up. These leave the hair dry. Use styling products that are zero or low alcohol. Products for dry hair are the best. Spray in conditioners and glossifiers are wonderful for the ends. Clarifying shampoo is great if used with a good moisture leave in. Curly hair should use moisture shampoo and conditioners.
Can I swim?
You may go in swimming pools and hot tubs. It is best to wash hair right after swimming. Avoid getting hair in salt water as the salt can take all the moisture out of the hair and it tangle. Never braid your hair and go in salt water. It is best to wear it down. Add a spray in conditioner after swimming. (click here for hair care instructions)
Will anyone know I am wearing them?
No one should be able to tell. Choosing the right color and hair texture is important. With the right application you will know they are there but no one else will. Some of our hair is completely virgin so must customize if need added color.
Can I wear my clip-on extensions to bed?
We recommend taking them out before your go to bed. This keeps the hair from tangling while sleeping and they are easy to put back in. The great advantage to clip on extensions is being able to take them off at night.
Can I make highlights and lowlights with clip-on extensions?
Yes, this is also a great way to save your hair from the damage coloring can do. Choose 1 set of clip ons to match your base color and choose 1 set in a shade lighter for highlights or darker for low lights. Clip them in alternating the colors.
